Aptly titled “Shefik presents Invocation”, the radio show is a mesmerizing and thought-provoking journey through musical discovery and appreciation that spans the decades. Each one-hour episode highlights one relatable focal point (chosen by Shefik), along with an accompanying playlist of songs (curated by Shefik), encompassing a unique thematic concept that invigorates the audience with creative impact.

Legendary recording artists, such as Dionne Warwick; Gerald Alston of The Manhattans; Melba Moore; Sonny Turner (former lead singer of The Platters); Leaveil Degree of The Whispers; Tito Puente, Jr.; Ladies of SKYY; Trisco Pearson of Force MDs; and many other music industry veterans are all scheduled to appear in early episodes of the show.

Additional appearances include a parade of critically-acclaimed, Grammy-winning singer-songwriters from a variety of genres, such as Gordon Chambers (Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Beyoncé, Usher, Anita Baker); and gold and platinum-selling vocalists, such as the R&B group Solo. A highlight of an upcoming episode will feature an appearance by the Crown Prince of Italy, His Royal Highness Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia.

A wide spectrum of actors, business executives, politicians, community leaders, and other special guests are also scheduled to offer their own commentary on the weekly topic, as a supplement to Shefik’s engaging mindset.
